‘Outdoor Concepts, Creating the New Normal’
This CPD aims to discuss the impact that COVID19 has had on society and the way in which we view and design spaces. 2020 was a strange year for all industries and having to adapt to a new way of working, but the biggest takeaway was a shift to spending more time outside. We saw a rise in the nation wanting to transform their gardens into comfortable, weatherproof spaces.
Through this presentation, we aim to help you create stylish and innovative spaces. We will discuss how Coronavirus is shaping the new normal, both personally and professionally and explore trends such as the £3.7billion being spent on garden makeovers in 2020. 20% of people were using their gardens more than ever before during the pandemic and due to ever-changing guidelines encouraging the use of outdoor spaces, we can expect this trend to continue.
